FOOD CRAVINGS

Because (believe it or not) man cannot live on books alone.

The latest and greatest:

This is cottage pie.

It's basically a thick beef stew (heartily flavored with a bottle of Guiness, oh yes), covered with mashed potatoes and baked until the top is brown.

Here it is before I finished putting on all the mash.

A lovely meal on a chilly day!
